Situation & Objective
Harcourt Matthews are a Recruitment Business Partner to their EMEA Finance and Project Management & PMO, delivering a Finance, IT and Business transformation change programme, which HISTORICALLY, included centralising 16 countries into one regional hub and business process outsourcing (BPO) across a series of skills lines and functions designed to reduce the European footprint from 300+ staff at HQ/SSC Finance to 30 or so in London, as well as up-skilling & developing the leadership team, ERP systems and reorganising teams & behaviours from a traditional control, country & hierarchical structure into a flatter matrix managed business partnering structure.

The firm sought to bring onboard three recruitment business partners to lead on recruitment activities and support a business growth and engage in the transformation programme specifically in London HQ for the old & new European business, end-to-end.

Actions:
Sourcing and placing people on an interim and permanent basis in the following skills lines:

Finance & Accounting (at different phases: old finance organisation – finance in transition – new organisation including remediation – Business as usual (BAU)
ERP Systems – Data migration, Systems Project delivery
Finance Systems transformation – disparate older legacy into new ERP, centralised Finance IT
Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) old retained service – new 3rd party BPO SSC in India and Eastern Europe
