Job Description

An exciting 16-month fixed term contract has arisen for an Accounts Assistant within the Finance Shared Service Centre. Providing financial support across the group, you will provide support the Finance Manager on the following tasks:

  • Preparation of general ledger journal entries to record accounting transactions including prepayments & accruals, recharges, monthly FX revaluations
  • Fixed Asset maintenance, recording additions & disposals, depreciation entries & reconciliations
  • Intercompany invoicing, processing & reconciliation
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Preparation of monthly finance packs, account analysis & reconciliations
  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Documentation & monitoring of internal controls & procedures

Seeking to study or actively studying for an accountancy qualification, you will demonstrate a minimum of 12 months finance exposure within a large or multinational corporate environment, strong Excel skills and hands on transactions and reconciliations experience. The role demands the ability to use your initiative, a team-player approach and an outgoing, enthusiastic personality. Immediate start available. Ref: BHJOB3543_4859
