Ongoing expansion has created a new opportunity for an experienced Global Intranet Manager.
Key Responsibilities of the Global Intranet Manager
- Develop best practice content management guidelines.
- Manage and develop of the Intranet taxonomy and align with enterprise taxonomy
- Optimise search and content discovery
- Continuous improvement to all elements of the Intranet User Experience (UX)
- Ensure the Intranet’s information architecture is aligned with and informs the firm’s broader Knowledge and content strategies.
- Establish and implement the Intranet governance framework.
- Manage the Intranet content team to provide day to day support for the Intranet service.
- Work collaboratively with the Information Technology teams on opportunities to enhance and evolve the Intranet service in line with the firm’s technology strategy and Microsoft’s tech roadmap.
- Establish the guidance and training framework for the community of content owners, including effective content management.
- Work closely with our community of content owners to understand their requirements and involve them in planning and problem solving.
- Ensure Intranet support services for content owners (training, editing and design) are fit for purpose and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of content owners.
- Working closely with the Internal communications team develop methodologies to encourage broad engagement with the Intranet across the HSF network.
- Utilise Intranet analytics to distil insights into user requirements and behaviours to inform the ongoing development of the Intranet service.
- Keep abreast of Intranet industry trends development and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Skills & Attributes of the Global Intranet Manager
- At least 3 years of experience in managing and implementing intranets within a law firm or professional services.
- Undergraduate degree in Information Management or other relevant discipline
- Proficient in SharePoint Online for intranet applications
- Expertise in designing Information Architecture and content management for intranets
- In-depth knowledge of Usability and User Experience principles
- Project management experience
- People management experience
