A global law firm is seeking a Practice Technology Analyst to join its Practice Technology Transactions team. The role focuses on supporting the development and implementation of technology solutions that enhance legal service delivery, particularly across transactional practices. This position offers exposure to innovative legal technologies, including AI-driven tools, and involvement in complex, high-value matters.
Key Responsibilities of the Legal Technology Analyst
- Support technology implementation lifecycle - Assist in the roll-out, adoption and optimisation of transactional legal technologies across the firm. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions integrate effectively with systems, processes and data.
- Coordinate project delivery activities - Oversee and track project progress, workflows and deliverables across the full matter lifecycle. Prepare project plans, status updates and ensure delivery aligns with timelines and quality standards.
- Engage with matter teams - Work closely with partners, lawyers and business services teams to define scope, priorities and technology requirements. Support the application of legal technology on active client matters.
- Manage vendor relationships and tools - Liaise with external providers to coordinate delivery, testing and ongoing use of platforms. Maintain familiarity with vendor solutions and provide troubleshooting and user support.
- Promote best practice and innovation - Document and share best practices in the use of AI and automation tools. Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies across transactional work.
Skills & Attributes of the Legal Technology Analyst
- Legal technology - Understanding / interest in legal technology tools such as document automation, AI platforms and matter management systems. Demonstrates awareness of emerging trends in legal innovation.
- Project coordination - Ability to manage multiple priorities, track progress and deliver against deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting complex projects is advantageous.
- Effective stakeholder communication - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of a professional services environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving - Capable of troubleshooting technical issues and using structured thinking to support solution development and delivery.
- Organised and detail-oriented approach - High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage time and resources effectively to meet service expectations.
