A specialist investment management firm focused on real assets is seeking a Finance Manager to join its Fund Finance team. The role supports listed investment vehicles and plays a key part in financial reporting, oversight, and control. It offers broad exposure to fund operations, stakeholders, and strategic financial activities.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Manager

 

·        Lead financial reporting processes - Coordinate and deliver finance inputs for annual and interim reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all disclosures.

·        Manage audit and compliance cycle - Oversee the audit process including planning, timelines, and deliverables, while maintaining strong relationships with auditors.

·        Oversee NAV production and controls - Review NAV packs, reconciliations, and supporting schedules, ensuring a robust financial control environment.

·        Deliver cash flow forecasting - Produce and maintain detailed cash forecasts aligned to asset activity, supporting dividends, financing, and operational planning.

·        Manage stakeholders and reporting outputs - Act as a key contact for fund administrators and service providers, while supporting board reporting and regulatory announcements.

 

Skills & Attributes of the Senior Finance Manager

 

·        Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience within investment management, listed funds, or similar complex structures.

·        Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability – Expert in Excel and financial tools, with a track record of building and reviewing sophisticated models to support decision-making.

·        Highly effective communicator and influencer – Confident presenting complex financial matters to senior stakeholders, including boards and external partners, with clarity and authority.

·        Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail – Combines technical excellence with pragmatic decision-making in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

·        Proven stakeholder leadership – Demonstrates the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.

·        Continuous improvement and leadership mindset – Proactively enhances processes, drives efficiencies, and contributes to building a high-performing finance function.
