The Company hiring a Global Pricing Senior Advisor

A Global Pricing Senior Advisor is sought by this truly leading global £multi-billion turnover leading global legal group. Operating within the UK, Europe, US and AsiaPac markets, they have developed an enviable reputation for outstanding client service and delivering innovative specialist products and unique solutions. Continued growth has resulted in the need for a bright graduate qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, to assume a high-profile finance business partner role, your remit is to support the Business Services teams in the provision of financial advice, planning, budgeting, analysis & reporting.

Key Responsibilities of the Global Pricing Senior Advisor

• Act as the Finance Business Partner – Pricing & Analysis supporting financial aspects of the client/customer pricing & fee deal process, ensuring buy-in from all stakeholders; provision of commercial insights & challenge in a lead advisory capacity
• Manage financial aspects of client fee deal processes
• Produce bespoke financial modelling to support Pricing Managers, Finance Directors and Marketing teams in relation to pricing and financial issues for fee deal proposals
• Perform mid-term reviews of existing commercial arrangements and escalate cases of non-compliance or where actual recoveries differ from that modelled in fee negotiations
• Develop best practice reports and create visualisations in Tableau, highlight trends in pricing and share with the global pricing network and throughout the firm. Be acknowledged as a global expert in this field and drive forward improvements
• Provide ad-hoc and planned matter pricing support to fee earners, including delivery of presentations, demonstrating how Pricing tools work, and pricing live matters

Skills & Attributes of the Global Pricing Senior Advisor

• Solid financial acumen gained via numerate degree and/or as a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Exposure to pricing in a service business – individuals from accounting, consulting, legal or other professional service backgrounds would be preferred but all sectors will be considered
• Strong financial modelling and data manipulation skills
• A high degree of commercial acumen to provide advice and training to senior decision makers
• proactive, forward-thinking individual who is determined and committed to challenging the status quo to improve pricing strategy and operations
• Highly proactive/self-motivated by nature
• Experience working with Tableau, Power BI or other data visualisation tools would be advantageous
