This leading international Legal Professional Services group operating in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, boasts a strong track record of delivering high quality services to a blue-chip portfolio of clients in some of the fastest growing markets in the world. Ongoing expansion has created a new opportunity for a 2:1/1st class graduate and part qualified or qualified PRINCE 2, APMP or Six Sigma to undertake a Legal Project Manager role. With a remit to deliver complex matters across key international practice groups, your brief comprises legal project management and service excellence. A varied brief includes:
- Ensuring project management best practice is applied to complex matters
- Establishing initial scoping, planning, delivery, mobilisation to lessons learnt
- Coordination of project management activity, control & monitoring across matters
- Management of risks, assumptions, issues & dependencies
- Identifying opportunities & challenges
- Delivery of value & financial savings across legal matters
- Supporting fee earners in delivering complex legal matters using service excellence standards
- Maintaining a strong reputation for delivery across the firm
- Building robust relationships with Partners on service excellence standards
- Coaching fee earners in application of service excellence standards
- Working with Marketing & Business Development in identifying project management opportunities
As a 2:1/1st class graduate and part qualified or qualified PRINCE 2, APMP or Six Sigma, you will demonstrate relevant legal project management experience of client-facing, complex matters gained within a Legal or Professional Services firm or an in-house Legal function. The gravitas to manage and influence key stakeholders, outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to manage several concurrent project lifecycles is prerequisite. A professional and proactive approach is essential alongside evidence of consulting, coaching and advisory skills.
