Operating within the niche Luxury Fashion Retail sector, this highly successful & fast-growing entrepreneurial business has developed enviable market share throughout Europe, an aspirational product range, innovative design & a great reputation for quality. Now operating globally, the group has ambitious plans to continue its expansion across Europe. As a result, the business is currently seeking a graduate qualified accountant to undertake a Financial Analyst role and support the Financial Planning & Analysis team. Acting as a key link between finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities of Finance Analyst
- Preparation of weekly sales & KPI reports for the Senior Management team
- Analysis of KPIs to highlight trends & improve operational efficiency
- Update of weekly, monthly & quarterly FP&A schedules
- Tracking & analysis of retail performance to identify risks & opportunities
- Supporting in-store and online sales promotions campaigns
- Pricing review & analysis for Wholesale team
- Supporting month end processes including financial reporting, expenses review & reconciliations
Skills & Attributes of Finance Analyst
As a 2:1 or 1st class graduate qualified Financial Analyst, you will demonstrate extensive financial analysis and planning experience gained within a pan European business, and ideally in the Retail, FMCG or Wholesale sector. The role demands advanced Excel skills and preferably exposure to SAP and group reporting tools, alongside excellent interpersonal ability, commercial flair and the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders.
