A qualified Finance Business Partner is sought by a leading professional services group with an enviable portfolio of FTSE 100 and Blue Chip clients. This organisation offers a broad range of services across international offices in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Ambitious growth plans and continued profitable expansion within all markets and regions has created a new opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join the team. Providing support to the Partners and Functional Heads, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders – Work closely with senior fee earners, business managers, and operations directors to provide proactive financial support.
- Driving strategic financial growth – Support business development, client retention, and profitability improvement within practice groups.
- Managing financial planning processes – Oversee annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic reviews to enable profitable growth.
- Providing actionable financial insights – Deliver monthly finance MI with analysis and commentary, monitor performance, and support partners in achieving financial targets.
- Supporting business case development – Assist with strategic initiatives, including lateral hires, practice area expansion, and geographic growth, through financial analysis.
Skills & Attributes of the Finance Business Partner
- Ideal candidates will qualified accountants ACCA/CIMA/ACA with proven experience of business partnering key stakeholders in a commercial environment
- Experience of a professional services environment is highly advantageous
- Candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be advanced in MS excel, with exceptional analysis and financial modelling skills
- This role will be ideal for someone who is self-motivated and has the ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm and focused
