The Company hiring an IT Solutions Architect

An IT Solutions Architect is sought by this global full-service law firm operating across more than 70 offices in over 30 countries, supporting clients in both the public and private sectors. This role sits within the Architecture & Design team and contributes to the delivery of secure, scalable and strategically aligned technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies in an environment that recognises IT as a core enabler of business capability.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Solutions Architect

·        Design and deliver solutions: Lead the creation of end-to-end solution architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise roadmaps and transition plans.

·        Stakeholder collaboration: Advise business and IT stakeholders, presenting options clearly and influencing decisions.

·        Technical leadership: Guide development teams, resolve technical challenges, and provide oversight for integrations and project delivery.

·        Innovation and improvement: Research emerging technologies, identify opportunities for process improvement, and enhance existing systems.

·        Governance and risk management: Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with legal and regulatory requirements, updating information asset registers as needed.

Skills & Attributes of the IT Solutions Architect

·        Solution architecture expertise: Proven experience in enterprise environments, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions.

·        Cloud and integration knowledge: Strong Microsoft Azure skills, familiarity with cloud-native design, API management, and enterprise applications.

·        Communication and influence: Excellent stakeholder engagement, with ability to advise, persuade, and present complex concepts clearly.

·        Strategic and technical mindset: Understanding of project delivery, data governance, information security, and quality standards.

·        Professional attributes: Self-motivated, solution-oriented, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while prioritising tasks effectively.
