A major international firm is seeking a Project Manager to join their London office on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Supporting one of the busiest and most high-profile teams, you'll play a key role in delivering complex client projects, streamlining legal processes, and driving innovation across global assignments.
This firm is known for its collaborative culture, commercial excellence, and commitment to evolving how legal services are delivered. They operate at scale across the UK, Europe, US and Asia-Pacific, delivering complex projects for major global clients.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager
- Acting as the project delivery lead on legal matters, from initial scoping through to completion
- Conducting project initiation sessions to understand objectives, risks and resource needs
- Supporting legal teams to plan, manage and deliver matters efficiently and within budget
- Promoting best practice in project and process management, supporting wider awareness across the firm
- Advising on technology and resourcing options to improve delivery outcomes, liaising with internal experts as needed
- Contributing to the development of internal project management tools and frameworks
Skills & Attributes of the Project Manager
- At least 3 years' experience in a project management or change delivery role within professional services, consultancy, finance, tech, or similar sectors
- Strong planning, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Confidence using project tools and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
- Project management or change management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Prosci) are desirable
- A proactive, commercially minded approach and the ability to quickly build credibility in a new environment
