Key Responsibilities of the Senior Innovation Specialist
· Deliver change – lead and support client service, collaboration, and process improvement projects.
· Bring ideas to life – translate lawyer and client needs into practical solutions using legal tech, automation, and data tools.
· Champion legal tech – advise on and implement tools such as AI, document automation, and collaboration platforms.
· Be the connector – bridge the gap between lawyers, technologists, and clients, communicating complex solutions in plain English.
· Shape culture – help embed innovation across the firm through training, showcases, and client engagement.
· Stay ahead – track emerging technologies and market trends, testing and scoping new products to keep the firm at the cutting edge.
Skills & Attributes of the Senior Innovation Specialist
· Experience with legal tech platforms (e.g. HighQ, Contract Express, Luminance, DocuSign) and an enthusiasm for emerging tools.
· Strong client-facing or consultancy background, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively at all levels.
· Knowledge of how legal work is delivered, with a knack for spotting inefficiencies and designing solutions.
· Confidence in leading workshops, collaborating with diverse teams, and turning insight into action.
· A curious, innovative mindset and the resilience to drive forward change.
