An opportunity has been created for a Tax Manager to join a leading global £multi-billion turnover Professional Services group, operating within the UK, Europe, US and Asia-PAC markets. They have developed an enviable reputation for outstanding professional services and delivering innovative products & service solutions. Enjoying continued growth through service and market development, the business delivers challenging assignments for a worldwide blue-chip client base.

Key Responsibilities of the Tax Manager

 
  • Oversee UK and international tax compliance – Manage tax obligations for UK entities, international offices, and ensure compliance with Pillar 2 regulations.
  • Provide tax planning support – Assist in UK and international tax structuring, including the firm’s London headquarters relocation.
  • Lead financial reporting and process improvements – Prepare corporate tax disclosures, compile Total Tax Contribution reports, and drive automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders – Work closely with partners, finance teams, tax advisors, and external authorities.
  • Manage and develop the tax team – Train and support junior tax professionals while ensuring tax risk controls are in place.

Skills & Attributes of the Tax Manager
 
  • Tax expertise & qualifications – ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified with 8+ years experience in UK and international tax matters.
  • Technical proficiency – Strong Excel skills, SAP experience, and expertise in tax compliance for large businesses.
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills – Ability to navigate complex tax regulations and provide strategic advice.
  • Strong communication & leadership – Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, mentor team members, and present tax insights effectively.
  • Organised & detail-oriented – Capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
