A global facilities management specialist is seeking an accomplished Senior Commercial Manager to drive commercial strategy and optimise contract performance across high-profile client accounts. With a reputation for delivering smart, sustainable, and tech-enabled workplace solutions, they partner with some of the world’s most recognised brands.

This role offers the opportunity to shape commercial outcomes, influence senior stakeholders, and lead strategic initiatives across a broad portfolio. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor, ensuring commercial excellence from bid stage through to contract delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Finance Manager
 
  • Lead commercial activities – Oversee bids, negotiations, and contract delivery, aligning outcomes with business goals and client requirements.
  • Advise on complex matters – Provide guidance on scope, liabilities, KPIs, and performance frameworks to account and contract teams.
  • Manage risk and opportunity – Identify potential issues or value drivers, implementing strategies to mitigate risk and enhance results.
  • Oversee governance processes – Ensure robust change control, variations management, and compliance with internal commercial procedures.
  • Support bid development – Review and develop commercial documentation during tenders and contract negotiations.
 

Skills & Attributes of the Commercial Finance Manager
 
  • Professional membership (e.g. RICS, IACCM) and/or relevant degree in Business, Law or Finance would be advantageous but not essential is a plus
  • Extensive commercial negotiation skills – Proven experience in pre-contract and contract discussions with measurable results.
  • Risk management expertise – Strong track record in identifying and resolving complex commercial issues.
  • Deep contractual knowledge – Skilled in KPI structures, payment mechanisms, and varied contract types.
  • Analytical and problem-solving strength – Ability to interpret data and provide commercially sound solutions.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills – Confident communicator, adept at influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
