The Company hiring a Director – Legal Management Consulting
A leading global consulting group is seeking a Director to join its globally regarded legal management consulting practice. This is a senior role for an experienced legal or consulting professional who is motivated by purpose-led work, collaborative leadership and shaping the future of legal services through technology, people and process.
The role works closely with law firms and in-house legal teams, helping them redesign how legal services are delivered, improve efficiency and embed GenAI responsibly and sustainably.
Key Responsibilities of the Director – Legal Management Consulting
- Transforming legal service delivery
Partner with law firms and in-house legal teams to redesign operating models, improve processes and enable technology-led change that enhances value, quality and sustainability. - GenAI strategy with integrity
Support clients in adopting GenAI and digital tools in a responsible, ethical and practical way, balancing innovation with trust, governance and long-term impact. - Leading programmes and change
Lead multidisciplinary teams across consulting, legal and technology, creating inclusive project environments and delivering change that people understand and adopt. - Building trusted client relationships
Develop long-term, trusted advisory relationships with senior stakeholders, contributing to business growth through insight-led conversations and thought leadership. - Developing people and future leaders
Coach, mentor and sponsor consultants, with a strong focus on inclusion, continuous learning and supporting different career paths and working styles.
Skills & Attributes of the Director – Legal Management Consulting
- Experience in legal transformation
Background in consulting, law firms or in-house legal teams, with experience delivering operational or digital change within legal environments. - Confidence with GenAI and digital change
Interest and experience in how GenAI and emerging technologies can improve legal workflows, alongside an understanding of ethical, data and people considerations. - Inclusive leadership style
A collaborative, empathetic leadership approach, with experience guiding teams and stakeholders through change in complex organisations. - Client-focused and commercially aware
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and shape solutions that genuinely meet client needs. - Values-led and adaptable
Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience), with strong personal integrity, accountability and a flexible mindset when balancing competing priorities.
