Investing in new technologies and ground-breaking creative capabilities, this SME continues to capitalise on new revenue streams and develop its market presence. Strong development and ambitious strategic targets have created an opportunity for a Finance Director role to support the CEO.

Key Responsibilities of Finance Director

 
  • Actively pursuing the raising of funds from new & existing investors
  • Preparation of due diligence for potential acquisitions & presentation to the Board
  • Preparation of monthly investor updates for key stakeholders & investment bid documentation
  • Preparation & delivery of monthly financial & Executive reports at senior Board meetings
  • Setting up new business entities in new international markets
  • Supporting the CEO on strategic new business channels including deal structuring & re-negotiation of current & long-term deal frameworks
  • Assisting the Sales team with new business pitches including budget structuring, presentation formats, & deal formulation
  • Development & preparation of short & long term business plans
  • Competitor & market place analysis
  • Establishing & developing financial accounting for overseas business entities
  • Management & development of a small finance team

Skills & Attributes of Finance Director

As a graduate qualified accountant, and currently in a senior finance role ideally within an SME or start-up environment, you will demonstrate strong technical accounting ability and evidence of supporting senior stakeholders in the decision-making process. Exposure to the online, e-Commerce or advertising sector would be advantageous but not essential. The role demands exposure to fund raising, commercial flair, outstanding analytical skills, the ability to maximise revenue streams & improve financial profitability within this next phase of growth. As a professional, confident and proactive individual, you will be seeking a no. 1 finance role within a challenging, dynamic and fast-moving business.
