An international professional services organisation is seeking a motivated Finance Project Analyst to join its business optimisation function in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating and improving the delivery of complex projects across a high-profile client base.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Project Analyst

·        Work closely with legal teams to support the smooth running of client matters (projects), from start to finish

·        Maintain dashboards, processes, and knowledge resources to support continuous improvement

·        Ensure continued profitability of each matter by monitoring core KPIs and communicating key movements and trends to fee-earners

·        Coordinate meetings, track actions, and keep key stakeholders informed

·        Use data to spot trends, highlight risks, and support decision-making

·        Encourage the use of technology and innovation to improve how we work

 

Skills & Attributes of the Finance Project Analyst

  • Clear communicator – Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in influencing senior fee-earners and stakeholders.

  • Legal experience – must have worked for a law firm or had lawyers as key stakeholders

  • Financial acumen – knowledge of key drivers of profitability or have worked in pricing, budget setting or revenue control

  • Highly organised – Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Analytical thinker – Comfortable handling data and using systems such as spreadsheets and collaboration tools.

  • Proactive and solutions-focused – Brings initiative and drive to improve how tasks and projects are managed.

  • Collaborative mindset – Enjoys working in a team-based environment and adapts well to change.
