This independent, internationally recognised law firm is known for its entrepreneurial culture, high-profile disputes work, and advisory expertise across a wide range of commercial and private client matters. With a strong focus on innovation, the firm invests heavily in technology, data-driven solutions, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance the way legal services are delivered.

As the firm continues to expand its Legal Project Management capability, they are seeking a Legal Project Manager to help shape and grow the service offering, working closely with legal teams, clients and cross-functional specialists.

Key Responsibilities of the Legal Project Manager

 
  • Support lawyers with matter planning, scoping and budgeting
  • Build and manage budgets, monitor scope and ensure accurate time recording
  • Develop and maintain project plans, coordinate workstreams and track deadlines
  • Provide financial and progress updates to internal teams and clients
  • Facilitate meetings, manage actions and maintain communication across stakeholders
  • Identify risks and escalate issues promptly
  • Work closely with Legal Operations, Legal Tech, Finance and other specialist teams
  • Liaise with clients, external counsel and third-party providers where required
  • Contribute to developing LPM best practice, templates and service models

Skills & Attributes of the Legal Project Manager
 
  • 2+ years’ experience in Legal Project Management
  • Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2/APM) desirable
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Confident using legal technology and matter management tools
  • Proactive, collaborative and able to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills and good working knowledge of Excel
  • Legal or professional services experience is advantageous
