Working at the heart of digital transformation a role is available for a Legal Technologist to take ownership and responsibility for driving adoption and embedding key technology solutions across the firm, whilst also delivering an exceptional client experience. This global Legal Professional Services group, operating within the UK, Europe, US and Asia, has a reputation for delivering outstanding services and innovative product solutions. The business has established a track record for driving excellence within service delivery.
Key Responsibilities of the Legal Technologist
- Working closely with lawyers to develop understanding of legal work & existing to advise & assist with the implementation of legal technology tools
- Providing insights on legal market & technology trends and investigating new solutions & technologies to address challenges faced by lawyers
- Supporting continuous improvement projects & designing new methods of delivery
- Balancing client needs against corporate long-term strategic goals
- Promoting the use of existing legal technologies to legal teams
- Assisting in integration, configuration & customisation of existing solutions
- Identifying requirements for new solutions
- Supporting the introduction & embedding of new legal technologies
- Delivering training, presentations & demonstrations to lawyers & clients
- Assisting in preparation & deliver of pitches to clients
Skills & Attributes of the Legal Technologist
- Law, IT or Computer Sciences graduate
- Experience of issue resolution and the design of innovative solutions
- Strong project management ability
- Ideally previous law firm or inhouse legal team experience
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills, experience of and interest in new and emerging technologies including AI/machine learning, automation/RPA and collaboration platforms
- Preferably exposure to legal tech solutions such as HighQ, Kira, DocuSign, Contract Express and Bryter.
