Due to continued growth and success, this international law firm has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Technology Manager join them. This award-winning firm is known for being welcoming and supportive of their employees – business services and lawyers / trainees alike. Known for being international legal experts in sectors such as digital business, energy, financial services, life sciences, real estate, retail and more, they have represented many household names. Having also won an award for Best Law Firm for Legal Tech, we are now delighted to support the recruitment of a Legal Technology Manager to work with clients, meeting their needs from the legal technology platforms, whilst also bringing innovative ideas for the delivery of new and existing services.
Key Responsibilities of the Legal Technology Manager
Identifying and implementing solutions to streamline new or existing service lines, as well as managing and overseeing design, rollout and training for new systems
Lead on the strategic planning of the Belgium teams on their future solutions roadmap
Lead on the implementation of global policies and IT systems
Accountable for the success of the legal operations programme of work within the Belgium office
Work with clients and Belgium legal teams to establish reporting hubs and positive client management processes
Lead on the identification of requirements for new technology enabled services lines that can be taken to market
Be the Belgium office point of contact for the firms Alternative Technology stack
Be the global subject matter expert on the challenges facing the Belgium office, including financials, stakeholders, service lines and market developments
Lead the development of a process re-design template that can be utilised across the Belgium service lines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Development, OCS, Regulatory & Compliance, IT and Finance
Skills & Attributes of the Legal Technology Manager
Good experience of leading and managing projects
Client facing and business development experience
Evidence of picking up new technologies and becoming an expert in them
Evidence of consistent senior management and leadership stakeholder management
Comfortable engaging with people and leading client facing conversations, delivering high quality to the client
Comfortable working in a global team
Excellent command of written and spoken English and French
