This multinational Legal Professional Services group, operating within the UK, Europe, US and Asia, is one of the largest firms in the world. With a reputation for delivering outstanding services and innovative product solutions, the business has established a track record for completing international assignments on behalf of a worldwide blue-chip client base. The group is currently seeking a Technology Consultant to support their alternative legal operations team with technology, analytics, automation, and innovative operational processes at the forefront of all service offerings. This opportunity will involve working oninteresting projects using some of the latest technologies in the legal industry.
Key Responsibilities of the Technology Consultant
• Technology consulting projects working directly with clients
• Working with teams to utilise the best technologies for service delivery and internal operations
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to understand their challenges and use cases
• Designing solutions that take into account where technology and process change can assist
• Working with third-party vendors and internal teams to support the configuration and implementation of software solutions
• Taking the lead in establishing integrations and connectivity between different software solutions
• Monitoring new and emerging technologies and trends that may impact the firm, our clients and the industry
Skills & Attributes of the Technology Consultant
• 2-3 years’ experience in a technical role
• All-rounder who has the ability to work in fast paced evolving technology environment and is comfortable in client consulting and project management
• Hands-on experience with system design, integration between systems and implementation of solutions
• Experience building effective relationships with a wide range of technical peers
• Good technical knowledge of Cloud technologies and platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
• Good understanding of programming languages, frameworks and processes (e.g. Python, SQL, HTML, XML, JSON, REST APIs)
• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or similar discipline
