A global professional services group is seeking a Senior Manager to join its growing Legal Services Transformation team. This firm supports in-house legal departments across multiple sectors to improve performance, streamline operations, and adopt innovative ways of working. With operations in over 40 countries, the business is investing heavily in its legal advisory capabilities and is delivering high-impact consulting projects for leading legal teams. This is an opportunity to help shape the legal services of the future as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking consultancy team.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Manager

  • Deliver strategic change projects - Deliver complex legal transformation and operational improvement initiatives tailored to in-house legal teams.

  • Drive consulting delivery - Manage end-to-end delivery of projects or lead key workstreams within broader legal change programmes.

  • Engage in business development - Support the sales cycle by identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals, and building trusted client relationships.

  • Develop and manage teams - Lead high-performing, inclusive teams and mentor junior consultants through hands-on project work.

  • Enhance the service offering - Evolve the firm’s legal transformation services, from operating model redesign to outsourcing and technology enablement.

Skills & Attributes of the Senior Manager

  • Strong consulting credentials - With a background in transformation, ideally with certifications such as Prince2, Lean Six Sigma or Prosci.

  • Legal services expertise - Experience delivering change within legal functions or related areas such as legal operations or contract management.

  • Insight into in-house challenges - Clear understanding of how in-house legal departments operate and the pressures they face.

  • Leadership & coaching ability - Confident managing people and leading diverse project teams in a collaborative setting.

  • Relevant sector experience - Background in management consultancy, legal services, or within a legal function of a corporate or public sector organisation.
