We’re supporting the recruitment of a Risk Engineer, to work in a business-critical role being the interface between technology and the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join as the team is driving the use of technology and implementing significant change to all business areas on an international scale. This company is a world leading legal services businesses, operating on a global scale with multiple Tier 1 practice groups and a strong focus on arbitration, banking, competition and trade, as well as corporate crime and corporate finance. This is an opportunity to play a key role in enabling the company to use legal technology and deliver a more effective service to their clients.

Key Responsibilities of the Risk Engineer

• Carry out comprehensive risk/loss prevention surveys to assist clients in implementing loss reduction measures.
• Provide informed risk selection advice to clients, brokers, and underwriters.
• Travel regionally to perform risk surveys, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Employ exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills to establish robust working relationships with our colleagues, clients, insurance underwriters, and engineers.

Skills & Attributes of the Risk Engineer

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in various aspects of power generation plant/design and operations.
• A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered Status or a strong commitment to achieving this milestone.
• Previous experience in the insurance industry is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
• This role suits a proactive professional who thrives in a high-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to make a substantial impact on our business and our clients.
